Daisy Shah – Boyfriend
It is alleged that Daisy has been dating choreographer Ganesh Acharya for many years. It is also alleged that Daisy’s closeness and relationship with Acharya was one of the reasons for his divorce.
After graduation, Daisy struggled to get into the film industry before landing a job as an assistant to Ganesh Acharya. She worked with him for 3 years and then began modelling and doing print ads and photo shoots.
Shah started acting when Kannadiga director Harsha offered her a role in the movie Chingari. She enacted the role of Ammu is the Kannada original version of Hindi movie ‘Bodyguard.’ It was the lead role opposite Kannada actor Jaggesh. Daisy then did item songs for South Indian films as well as Bollywood films like Bloody Isshq, etc.
Shah was spotted by Salman Khan when she was working as an assistant choreographer for the movie ‘God Tussi Great Ho.’ Salman subsequently offered her a role as the friend of Kareena Kapoor’s friend in his movie ‘Bodyguard.’ Shah did not take up the offer as she felt that she did not want to be in a movie with Salman Khan if she could not romance him. This turned out to be a good decision as she later landed the lead role opposite Salman Khan in the film ‘Jai Ho.’
