Fatima Sana Shaikh is an Indian actress, dancer and also a photographer. She won the hearts of people as a child artiste in the movie ‘Chachi 420’ (1997). In the years to follow, she evolved as an accomplished dancer and photographer, apart from fine-tuning her skills as an actress. With the Aamir Khan-starrer Dangal, where she plays one of the daughters, she is poised to steal the limelight.

Early Life and Background
Fatima Sana Shaikh was born on 11th January 1992 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh. She has studied at St. Xavier High School and later got enrolled at Mitibhai College, Mumbai for her graduation.

Career
Her first appearance in the big screen was in the 1997 film Chachi 420. In the film she played the role of Kamal Hasan and Tabu’s daughter Bharti. In the year 2001, she also appeared in Sharukh Khan and Juhi Chawla starrer film One 2 ka 4. Again in the year 2008, Fatima played the role of Zoya in an Indian drama film Tahaan. In between films she was also seen in the role of Suman in a Hindi television soap opera ‘Agle Jnam Mohe Biyiya Hi Kijo’ on Zee TV. In the recent years, she appeared in films like Bittoo Boss and Akaah Vani.
Dangal Success
Fatima starred in ‘Dangal’, the Aamir-Khan starrer, in 2016. The movie went on to do business in excess of Rs. 1500 crore and is (as on May 2017) the second highest grossing Indian movie.

The cherubic talented actress will star in ‘Thugs of Hindostan’, a YRF movie that will also have Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Amitabh Bachchan as the main leads. Reports state that Vaani Kapoor was one of the actresses penciled for the role, but the role eventually went to Fatima.
