Roshni Chopra is an Indian film and TV actress, model, and television presenter. She is popular for her role as Pia in the drama ‘Kasamh Se’ telecast on Zee TV.
Career
Roshni began her acting career with the role of Pia in Kasamh Se. Later, she was the team captain on Chak De Bachche, a reality TV show. She even won ‘Dil Jeetegi Desi Girl,’ a reality show telecast on NDTV Imagine. Some of the other serials and shows that Chopra worked in include Pyaar Mein Twist, Kkavyanjali, Aahat, Akbar Birbal, and Comedy Nights with Kapil.
Chopra was one of the presenters of ‘Fourth Umpire,’ a pre and post-match cricket program that aired on DD. Other shows that she hosted include India’s Got Talent and Sony TV’s Comedy Circus Teen Ka Tadka, etc. She is currently the anchor of the show ‘Heroes – Moments and Memories’ which airs on Star Sports. It is rumored that Roshni will be a participant in season 9 of the celebrity reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss.’
Roshni made her Bollywood acting debut in 2004 with the movie ‘Lets Enjoy.’ In 2008, she acted in the movie ‘Bhram: An Illusion’ while she was seen in Vikram Bhatt’s film ‘Phhir.’
Personal Life and Trivia
- Roshni was born on November 2 1980 to Ravi Chopra and Manju Chopra. Producer-directors Yash Chopra and B.R. Chopra are her grandfathers. Her sister Deeya Chopra is also an actress. She did her initial education at ‘Our Own English High School.’
- Chopra got married to Siddharth Anand Kumar, a film director, in the year 2006. The couple has a son named Jaiveer who was born on November 5 2012.
