She says, “Bhushan said that he would gift me something worth 10 crores instead. But I was clear that I wanted to make movies. He kept on rejecting stories till he liked ‘Yaariyan’. And Yaariyan was a movie with totally new, young actors in their early 20s.” She laughs, “Once Yaariyan clicked, Bhushan would chase me to make more movies for him. He wanted me to make Yaariyan too, but I wanted to so Sanam Re.”
