Pooja Bose is an Indian TV actress who also acts in South Indian movies as a leading lady. The 5’2″ beauty is known for her varied roles such as goddess Parvati in the mythological drama Devon Ke Dev… Mahadev on Life Ok aired on Life OK; as ‘Vrinda’ in the STAR Plus soap opera ‘Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna’; and in the serial ‘Kahaani Hamaaray Mahaabhaarat Ki’ as Radha.
Pooja was also a participant in the reality dance show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa 7 as well as on Comedy Nights Bachao telecast on Colors. Her future acting offers include a negative role as a witch in Zee TV’s Qubool Hai.

Family Background and Personal Life
Pooja Bose was born as Pooja Banerjee in Kolkata, India, on Feb 6 1987. She attended St.Paul’s Mission School in the city and later went to Scottish Church College to finish her graduation.
It is rumored that Pooja was married and hence she got the surname Bose. It is alleged that she ditched her husband after she found fame and success as an actress. Pooja has however rubbished these allegations and stated that Bose was just a screen name and that her real surname was Banerjee. She further clarified that she has now started using Banerjee as her screen name as well.

Career
Pooja began her acting career down south in Telugu films, including Veedu Theda.Her other movies include Macho Mustanaa where she acted opposite Hiran Chatterjee, Challenge 2 directed by Raja Chanda and starring Dev Adhikari, and Mahaakshay Chakraborty starrer Rocky directed by Sujit Mondal.
Pooja Bose will be seen for the first time in a negative role as Afreen, a witch, in the show ‘Qubool Hai’ telecast on Zee TV. Pooja has stated that she was in experimentation mode and hence took up this acting challenge. She mentioned that viewers identify her characters as positive and good. According to Bose, adding shades of grey to her character and gaining the audience acceptance will be proof and validation of her acting prowess.
