Pranutan is the daughter of Bollywood actor Mohnish Bahl and former actress Ekta Sohni. She will be making her debut as an actress in a Salman Khan produced film. The movie has been tentatively titled ‘The Notebook.’ It stars Zaheer Iqbal as the lead actor. The director of the film will be Nitin Kakkar.
There is no information about the date of commencement of shooting for the film or its theatrical release date. However, as per rumors shooting will commence in Kashmir in March 2019.
Personal Life
Pranutan was born on 10th March 1993 in Mumbai. She has a sister named Krishaa Bahl.
She did her schooling from Cathedral John Cannon School in Mumbai. She then completed her LLB from Government Law College at Churchgate, Mumbai. After that, Pranutan completed her Masters in Law (LLM) from the University of Mumbai.
The 5 feet 5 inches tall beauty became very emotional after she came to know that Salman Khan was launching her as an actress. She then hugged her sister and her parents. She has stated that she will always cherish and fondly recall this moment.
After the announcement about her film debut, Pranutan spoke to the media and said that she always knew that her calling was the movies. She had known that it was important for her to complete her studies till a specific level. But she had also known that she would eventually start working in films.
Pranutan also told the media that since she was from a filmi family, it was inevitable that there will be expectations from her. Also, there will be comparisons to her father and her grandmother, the legendary Nutan. But she stated that she was taught by her parents to be extremely honest and sincere to her work. She promised that she will work real hard to get the same administration and praise from the audience as offered to her father and grandmother.
