Kishwer Merchantt, the popular TV actress, is a Bigg Boss 9 contestant who has entered the house along with boyfriend Suyyash Rai. It is believed that the two would marry by 2016.
An adept TV actress, she has not shied off from taking any role right from the start of her career. The actress was born on February 18, 1981. When she was just 24, she essayed the role of a mother in KKavyanajali.
She debuted with Hip Hip Hurray in 1998 and went on to TV shows like Kasauti Zindagii Kay, Kutumb, Khichdi, Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, , Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, Ek Hasina Thi, Dhadkan and Parvarrish. She has also done many episodes on Savdhaan India and Crime Patrol. The actress is known for her frank and forthright views and says that though she has done all sorts of roles, she cannot do mythological roles because she cannot speak Hindi in its purest Sanskrit form.
