Aditi Rao Hydari is a classical Bharatanatyam dancer and a popular Indian movie actress. Early Life and Family Background
Aditi was born on Oct 28 1986 to Vidya Rameshwar Rao and Ehsaan Hydari in Hyderabad. Theirs was a love marriage; the couple separated in when Aditi was 2 years old and Aditi moved with her mother to Delhi. The parents of Aditi have royal lineages, i.e., J. Rameshwar Rao from the family of Raja of Wanaparthy and Muhammad Saleh Akbar Hydari, the former governor of Assam. Akbar Hydari is the great grandfather of Aditi.
Aditi attended the Rishi Valley School near Bengaluru. She began learning Bharatanatyam when she was only 6 years old and was a disciple of the very well-known dancer Leela Samson. Aditi attended University of Delhi’s Lady Shri Ram College and finished her graduation.

When Hydari was only 21 years old, she married lawyer and civil servant Satyadeep Mishra, who later gave up his career and started acting. He was seen in the movie ‘No one Killed Jessica’ as the boss of Rani’ Mukherjee’s character. The couple are currently separated but are still close and remain friends.

The first film that was offered to Hydari as an actress was the critically acclaimed Sharada Ramanathan directed Tamil film Sringaram. Aditi played the lead role of a devadasi in the movie. It released in 2007 and won many awards including 3 National Film Awards. However, the first film of Hydari that released in theaters was the 2006 Mammootty starrer Prajapathi.
Later, Aditi did varied supporting roles in movies like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Delhi-6 and Ranbir Kapoor starrer ‘Rockstar.’ She eventually played a lead role in 2007 in the movie ‘Yeh Saali Zindagi.’ She won a Screen award for her acting in this movie.
