D’Cruz was born on 1 November 1987 in Panaji, Goa, India in a Konkani speaking Goan Catholic family. She is the daughter of mechanical draftsman Ronaldo D’cruz and his wife hotel industry employee Samira. D’Cruz spent her childhood shuffling between Pune, Maharashtra where she lived until age 18 and later moved with her family to Parra, Goa. She has one older sibling, a sister named Farrah, and two younger siblings; a sister named Eileen and a brother named Rhys.
D’Cruz completed her matriculation from a school in Goa and later attended the St. Xavier’s Higher Secondary School and College, Goa.
