Sobhita Dhulipala is an upcoming actress from the Indian Film Industry and an established model. Dhulipala came into the limelight after enrolling as a participant in the prestigious Beauty Pageant, the Femina Miss India contest 2013, during its 50th year. Dhulipala won the title of Femina Miss India Earth 2013 and represented India at the International Miss Earth 2013 held in Philippines where she won the titles of Miss Beauty for a cause, Miss Beautiful face, Miss Talent and Miss Photogenic, although she did not make it to the top 16 positions.
Dhulipala also participated in the famous Kingfisher Calendar search for upcoming super models in India and was chosen among the top six models of the year to feature in the 2014 calendar, shot in Boracay, Philippines. She has since had a steady career and has dabbled in both modelling and the Indian film industry, making her bollywood (Hindi film) debut with Raghu Raman 2.0 in 2016.

Early Life and Education
Dhulipala was born on 31 May 1992 in the city of Tenur, in the state of Andhra Pradesh, Guntur District, India to Santha and Venugopal Rao. However, her hometown is Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where she was raised. Dhulipala has two siblings; a sister and a brother. She is a trained classical dancer, having learnt Kuchipudi and Bharat Natyam.
During her formative years, Dhulipala was a student of the Little Angles School, Visakhapatnam and later enrolled into Visakha Valley School, also in the same city. Dhulipala then moved to Mumbai, Maharashtra where she enrolled into The H.R. College of Commerce and Economics to pursue a Bachelor in Commerce Degree.
Career Rise
Dhulipala’s first claim to fame was winning the Femina Miss India South, 2013 pageant; a zonal pageant of the National level contest, Femina Miss India. As a winner of the south zone, Dhulipala gained a direct entry into the top 23 of the National pageant, winning several other titles such as Miss Stylish hair, Miss Fashion Icon, Miss Adventurous, Miss Digital Diva and Miss Talent and also won Femina Miss India, Earth 2013. At Miss Earth 2013, Dhulipala represented India but could not make it to the top 16.
In 2016, the 5 feet 9 inch tall Dhulipala debuted on the big screen with Anurag Kashyap’s ambitious project Raman Raghav 2.0 and received critical appreciation for her portrayal of the supporting character Smrutika Naidu. The film was opened at Cannes Film Festival 2016 as part of the Director’s fortnight and Dhulipala received a critic’s nomination in the category ‘Best Supporting Performance’. She has since signed a three films contract with Kashyap’s ‘Phantom Films’ Production company. In the August of the same year, she was signed on for two other projects titled ‘Kaalakaandi’, to be directed by Akshat Verma and ‘Chef’, to be directed by Raja Menon. She is set to star opposite actor Saif Ali Khan in both the films. She has also been signed by the South Indian film industry for two projects; an untitled film in Telugu, starring Adivi Sesh and a Malayalam film titled ‘Moothon’ set to release in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Dhulipala was the face of the South Indian Textile Brand Kalanjali from 2014-2016.

Personal Life
Dhulipala is a very private person and has never revealed any details about her personal life, although in an interview with ‘The Times Of India’ she hinted that she was seeing an actor but refrained from naming him. She quotes Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra as her cinematic idols and says she is an Avid fan of the ‘Harry Potter’ movie series.
