Kritika Kamra is an Indian television actress who became famous after playing the role of ‘Arohi’ in Balaji Telefilms show ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai.’

Career
Kamra made her TV acting debut in 2008 when she was cast as ‘Arshiya’ in the drama ‘Yahan Ke Hum Sikander.’ She however gained public attention and popularity after playing the character of Arohi Sharma in the teleserial Kitani Mohabbat Hai in 2009. She subsequently reprised the role in season 2 of the show in 2010-2011.
The 5’5” beauty then enacted the role of a jovial girl, Dr. Nidhi, in the serial ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge,’ telecast on SET/Sony Entertainment TV. Nidhi’s character fell in love with another doctor, but he was almost 18 years older than her. In 2014, Kritika took part in season 7 of the reality dance show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.’ Her partner on the show was choreographer Savio. She was the host of the show ‘Webbed’ season 2 which airs on MTV.
Kamra is currently playing the role of ‘Ananya’ in the Goldie Behl directed newsroom drama called ‘Reporters.’ Rajeev Khandelwal is her co-star.

She teamed up with writer -director Navjot Gilati for a short film on Youtube, known as ‘Best Girlfriend’. The movie co-starring Vikrant Massey, turned out to be a huge viral hit on the web.
Personal Life and Trivia
- Kritika was born on October 25 1988 into a Punjabi family based in Madhya Pradesh. Her mother works in a firm and her father is a doctor. She attended the Delhi Public School in New Delhi. Then she enrolled at the National Institute of Fashion Technology for graduation. Kamra however left her studies at NIFT midway when she was offered the role of Arohi Sharma and came to Mumbai. She is currently pursuing an arts graduate degree from the University of Mumbai.
- The 1. 68 meter tall Kamra was previously in a relationship with actor Karan Kundra. They are not a couple anymore and Kritika is single and not dating anyone.
- Kritika is a huge fan of Shahrukh Khan and is her only crush.
